EasyCore Terms of Service

Effective date: September 24, 2026
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Applies to: EasyCore applications and related online services

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and EasyCore governing your use of EasyCore applications and the online services they connect to. They should be read together with the EasyCore Privacy Policy, which explains how EasyCore handles information.

These are the common Terms of Service for all EasyCore applications and related services that link to them, including Wallactive, Widget Studio and My Desktop Pet (MyDesktopPet). Product-specific functionality, data handling and availability are described on each application’s homepage and in the single EasyCore Privacy Policy. Google connections are optional and must comply with applicable Google API terms and policies.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

EasyCore ("EasyCore," "we," "us") provides software applications and related online services, including accounts, catalogs, content-hosting features, APIs, and other functionality where applicable (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, or by clicking "I agree" where presented, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to create an account or publish content. Some products may impose a higher minimum age where required by law or platform rules.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and that information you provide is accurate.

3. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, EasyCore grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the applicable application on devices you own or control, for its intended purpose, unless a product-specific license says otherwise.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, resell, sublicense, rent, distribute, or use the Service to build a competing product, except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. Depending on the product, an account may be created with an email address and password or through Google or Microsoft sign-in.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@easycore.me if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account for another person without permission, or maintain multiple accounts to evade a restriction imposed on another account.

5. Subscriptions, purchases, and payments

Some EasyCore applications or features may be offered for a fee, including one-time purchases, subscriptions, or other digital products. The price, billing period, included features, and other purchase terms will be presented before you complete a purchase.

Digital purchases and subscriptions offered through an EasyCore application on the Microsoft Store are processed through Microsoft's applicable Store purchasing and billing systems. EasyCore does not receive or store your full payment-card number through the Service.

If you purchase a recurring subscription, it may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it in accordance with the Microsoft Store's available cancellation controls and the terms applicable to your purchase. The applicable renewal price and billing period are those presented at purchase or otherwise made available by Microsoft Store.

Canceling a subscription normally stops future renewals. Unless applicable law, the Microsoft Store terms, or the applicable purchase terms provide otherwise, cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a period that has already been paid for.

Refunds, cancellation rights, taxes, payment methods, billing records, and other payment matters may be governed by Microsoft Store terms and applicable law. Where Microsoft controls the transaction, requests for refunds or billing adjustments may need to be submitted through Microsoft.

If a subscription is discontinued by EasyCore, we will handle the purchased subscription in accordance with applicable law, the Microsoft Store requirements, and the terms applicable to the purchase.

Microsoft Store may provide the authoritative record of your purchase, subscription status, renewal date, and billing information.

6. Automatic updates

EasyCore applications may periodically check for, download, and install updates, patches, security fixes, compatibility changes, or other modifications. Updates may be necessary to maintain security, compatibility, functionality, or access to online services.

7. Content you publish

"Your Content" means material you upload, submit, synchronize, or publish through the Service, including files, images, text, descriptions, configurations, application packages, and related metadata.

You retain ownership of Your Content. By publishing Your Content through a feature that makes it available to other users, you grant EasyCore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and make Your Content available as necessary to operate that feature and provide the Service for as long as the content remains published.

You represent that you own Your Content or otherwise have the rights necessary to grant this license, and that Your Content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Public content may remain accessible through copies that other users have downloaded, cached, archived, or re-published even after you remove it from the Service.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service or publish content that:

9. Content from other authors

Use third-party content at your own risk. Some EasyCore products may make content available that was created by other users or third parties. Such content may include executable code, scripts, network requests, or other active behavior. EasyCore does not review every item before it becomes available and does not guarantee that third-party content is safe, accurate, or free of defects.

You are responsible for deciding whether to install, run, download, or otherwise use third-party content. If you encounter content that appears to violate these Terms or behaves suspiciously, contact support@easycore.me.

10. Moderation, suspension, and termination

EasyCore may review, approve, reject, remove, unlist, restrict, or disable content and may suspend or terminate an account's access to the Service, in whole or in part, where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, address abuse or security risks, comply with law, respond to legal requests, or investigate suspected violations.

We may act with or without prior notice where permitted by law. Where appropriate, we may provide an explanation, warning, or opportunity to address an issue, but we are not required to do so unless applicable law requires it.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, content licenses for already distributed content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions, will survive.

11. Service changes and availability

EasyCore may add, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, content, or parts of a Service for technical, security, legal, operational, or business reasons. Where required by applicable law, we will provide any required notice or remedy.

We do not guarantee that a Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every device or operating-system version, or free of errors.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, source and object code, design, user interface, documentation, trademarks, logos, databases, catalogs, and other material that is not Your Content, is owned by EasyCore or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of EasyCore intellectual property to you. Except for the license expressly granted in these Terms or by applicable law, all rights are reserved.

13. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Google, Microsoft, Microsoft Store, hosting providers, payment platforms, identity providers, and external websites. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

EasyCore is not responsible for third-party services or content that EasyCore does not control.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all content made available through it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will always be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EasyCore, its developer, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, including damage caused by third-party content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid EasyCore for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EasyCore, its developer, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Russian Federation, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our products, services, payment arrangements, or legal requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by law, including an in-app notice, website notice, or a request to accept the revised Terms.

Where permitted by law, continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the affected Service.

19. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except where permitted by law. EasyCore may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and EasyCore concerning the Service and supersede prior terms covering the same subject matter, except for product-specific terms expressly incorporated into the Service or purchase.

21. Wallactive: purpose, Google services and prohibited content

Wallactive is EasyCore's Windows desktop personalization application. It lets users browse, install and create animated, interactive, web and video wallpapers, add visual effects and sound, manage playlists and configure wallpapers across monitors. Its public homepage is https://easycore.me/Wallactive/; reading the homepage, privacy policy or these Terms does not require an account.

Google sign-in is optional and requests only basic identity permissions (openid email profile) to authenticate a Wallactive account. Data handling is described in the Wallactive section of the EasyCore Privacy Policy. Wallactive does not request Gmail, Drive, Photos or Calendar data. Google APIs are not used for generating images, training AI models, or creating, facilitating or distributing AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII).

You must comply with applicable laws and respect privacy, consent, intellectual property and other third-party rights. You may not use Wallactive, its catalog or its Google integrations to create, upload, share, solicit or facilitate intimate or sexual imagery of a person without their consent, including AI-generated imagery, deepfakes and manipulated media. Sexual exploitation of children, threats, harassment, impersonation and distribution of unlawfully obtained intimate content are prohibited.

Google integrations are subject to the Google APIs Terms of Service and applicable Google policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy. You may not use these integrations to promote unlawful conduct, violate third-party rights or circumvent provider security and access restrictions.

Community submissions are subject to moderation before public catalog approval. Moderation is not a guarantee that every violation will be detected. Report prohibited or non-consensual intimate content using the application's wallpaper report action or email support@easycore.me with the wallpaper identifier or link and the reason. Do not attach intimate images or unnecessary sensitive personal information to a report.

EasyCore may investigate reports, reject or remove prohibited content and restrict or suspend access under Section 10 and applicable law. The public availability of the homepage does not grant access to administrative or authenticated account functions.

22. Widget Studio

Widget Studio is EasyCore's Windows application for creating custom desktop widgets in a visual editor, placing them on the desktop, using animations, dynamic data and automation, and publishing widgets to an online community catalog.

Section 21 applies to Widget Studio in the same way as to Wallactive, with "Wallactive" read as "Widget Studio" and "wallpapers" read as "widgets", including the rules on optional Google sign-in, Google API terms, prohibited content, moderation of community submissions and reporting. Data handling is described in the Widget Studio section of the EasyCore Privacy Policy.

Widgets from other authors may contain animations, dynamic data, automation and network requests. Section 9 applies: you decide whether to install and run them, and you should report suspicious widgets using the application's report action or support@easycore.me.
